Dogwood

This is the tree right by my front porch. I love it- it's BEEEuuutiful! Rick has always wanted a Dogwood... the house must be meant to be. :) It will look even better when we get all of the weeds out from around it. :)
We are officially renting our own home back now. We closed on the Placerville home a week ago and will close on our new one by next Thursday. The time is sneaking up on us. I really can't believe we are moving. Rick started to pack the rest of our pictures and other adornments tonight- it is just weird. We have a lot of great memories here. I don't think it will really hit me until we hand over the keys. I'll miss it here, but I am excited for what is to come.

I like the background for the blog. The dogwood looks beautiful. I planted some tulips in the back yard and every day I go count them. Yards are pretty fun! Love, Donna

I totally understand - last Friday I sat on the swing set in the backyard, looked up at the house, and burst into tears. When you make great memories, places are hard to leave!

Just think of the fabulous memories you have in store for your next home!!

Went camping over the weekend with the in-laws and the Ogzewalla fam. We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather. If you don't believe in God- you haven't been to Yosemite!! Truly one of my favorite spots on earth.

Happy to be playing in the dirt...

And his name is...

Rick and Bridger came up with a good name for the new kitty... Foster -kinda funny, he's like a foster cat and it goes along with all of our other "er" names. He's a really cute kitty- really friendly and chatty. So far he gets along with PK, Emma is a different story though- but she doesn't always like PK so I am not too worried!

We have a new kitty... he really is an outdoor cat, but he snuck in one day without me knowing so I took a picture while he waited to get back out. :) We don't have a name yet. Our neighbor called him Grayson, but we have a friend named that so that makes it little weird. Someone must have left him behind, so we have adopted him or maybe it's the other way around!
